2018 86" x 60" x 2" 30 archival inkjet prints mounted on plywood Based on the archive of photographs created by the USAEF Air Service between 1917 and 1919. Under the supervision of Edward Steichen this unit was the first to deploy cameras as weapons of war within the arsenal of the US Military. The specific plates that constitute this piece were chosen based on their low to partial utility as effective reconaisance documents. I discovered and scanned the images at the National Archives 2 in College Park Maryland.
I continue work with this collection. A link to the time-based outcome Over There follows select detials from this collage mural.
